A.C. Greene Award

The A.C. Greene Award is presented annually to a distinguished Texas author for lifetime achievement. The award is named for author, columnist and Abilene native, A.C. Greene.

 

 

The 2008 A.C. Greene Award will be presented to Dr. Don B. Graham. A distinguished writer and teacher, Dr. Graham specializes in Texas and Southwest literature. He is the J. Frank Dobie Regents Professor at the University of Texas at Austin and is a writer-at-large for Texas Monthly magazine. Dr. Graham's newest book is State Fare: An Irreverent Guide to Texas Movies. Join us at the Boots and Books Luncheon to see Dr. Graham receive his award.
