General Information
Most events at the festival are free of charge. The Cookbook Gala, and the Boots & Books Luncheon require tickets.

Exhibit Hall Information
Texas authors and publishers are welcome to participate in the Book and Music Festival. Exhibit space is available at the following levels -
Individual authors who wish to sell their own books: $20 for 1/2 table
$40 for a full table
Publishers and Book stores -- exhibit space depending on setup desired: $100 minimum

Goals of the festival include:

• Promote Abilene as a tourist destination
• Attract and recognize authors, musicians, publishers, readers, and listeners from around Texas
• Highlight the importance of reading and literacy throughout the community
• Recognize local and area authors and musicians
•Raise funds to benefit the Abilene Public Library
• Increase awareness and support for library programs
