SUMMER CAMPS

Its that time again!  Time to register for Summer Camp!  All camps will be held in the new Adventure Center.  Camps feature a combination of animal encounters, projects, crafts, and animal information.

Pre-K and Kindergarten camps run from 9-11:15 or 12-2:15.  Each camp is $55 for zoo members and $65 non-members.  Camps are limited to 12 students and close the Wednesday before camp starts.  Campers needs to have completed

at least a half-year of Pre-K.

Rockin’ Reptiles:  Learn all about the scales and tails of reptiles.  June 9-13 (Am session is FULL) or July 21-52

Wild Colors:  Learn how colors help animals survive.  June 23-27 or July 28-Aug1

Fuzzy Friends:  Learn all about the fuzzy and the furry in this camp. July 7-11 (AM session is FULL) or Aug 18-22

1st-7th grade camps run from 9-2 daily.  Please send a lunch or money for lunch. Unless noted, camps are limited to 15 students and close the Wednesday before the camp starts.  Each camp is $95 for zoo members and $115 for non-members.

1st/2nd Grade

Desert Dwellers: Learn about the animals and plants that call the desert home. June 9-13 or July 28-Aug 1

Animal Olympics:  Learn about animals that hold the records for fastest, largest and more! June 16-20

Chomp!: Learn about the different foods animals eat and how they catch their food.  July 7-11 or Aug 18-22

Fearsome Flyers:  Learn about the animals that have the ability to fly.  July 14-18

3rd-5th Grade

Extreme Animals:  Learn about the worlds most extreme animals  - from the fastest to the slowest. Aug 4-8

Venom!: Learn about the venomous animals found throughout the world.  June 23-27 or July 21-25

Animal Safari:  Learn about animals that inhabit different regions of the world.  July 14-18 or Aug 11-15

6th-7th  Grade – Limited to 10 campers

If I Ran The Zoo: Learn how zoos operate, see behind the scenes, and create your own zoo! Aug 11-15
