Cobb has a short-court basketball gym, an after-school activity room, two game rooms, and a banquet/activity room with a kitchen that is shared with our Senior Citizen Program. The senior citizen's area consists of billiard and exercise rooms and a den area. The outside park includes covered pavilions, sand volleyball court, a basketball hoop, and a playground. FACILITY RENTAL: Recreation Center Gymnasiums are available for rental for private use. Facilities can be rented 5 years in advance with a three day advanced notice. Cost for rental is $25 per hour for private non-fundraiser rental. A $50 deposit is required. For more information or to make a reservation contact the facility directly. AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM: The free After-School Program operates from August through May. This structured, supervised program offers arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor sports, games, field trips, special events, homework help, and educational classes. SUMMER PLAYGROUND PROGRAM: The Summer Playground Program is a ten-week program available at nine sites. This is a structured well-supervised program with expanded activities similar to the after school program. Fees are as follows for 2009 Session I (4 weeks) June 8 - July 2 (Closed July 3rd) Session II (4 weeks) July 6 -July 31 Session III (3 weeks) August 3- August 21 PROGRAMMING HOURS:
