General
Purpose of Adaptive Recreation Services: to provide specialized
leisure and
adaptive recreational activities for persons with disabilities.
PROGRAM HOURS: Monday-Friday
10 a.m-3 p.m.
PROGRAM FEE: $30
per month
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Diagnosis of mental
and/or physical disability.
- Must be evaluated
as being mature enough to attend classes/activities and
participate in them
- Must have self-help
skills.
- Must be able to attend
structured classes and activities without being
disruptive to the programs offered.
- Must be able to understand
and carry out instructions given out by staff.

- Field Trips and Special Events
- Day Trips to Surrounding Towns
- Arts and Crafts
- Other Classes such as Exercise, Ceramics, and Educational classes
Special
Olympic Program:
Adaptive Recreation offers 5 sports for Special Olympic participation.
