Giving a “hand up” instead of a “hand out” by promoting and encouraging participants to become economically self-sufficient

FSS PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Same qualifications as Section 8
  • Sign a five (5) year contractual agreement to either stay in school or work fulltime, and
  • Must have at least one child under the age of eighteen residing in the household, and
  • Must be receiving housing assistance through the Section 8 program, and
  • Escrow Account
