Financial Transparency
This section is meant to provide taxpayers with additional information to ensure that we are being transparent with the City's finances. By opening our books to the public, taxpayers can see exactly where their money is going.
As part of our transparency initiative we have received the Gold Leadership Circle Award from the Texas State Comptroller for 2012. This award is given to local governments who are striving to achieve a high standard for financial transparency online. This represents the third year we have received an award from the Comptroller. In 2011 we also received the Gold Award and in 2010 we received the Silver Award. http://www.texastransparency.org/local/index.php

Annual Budget - Approved budgets for the last five years and the proposed budget for the upcoming year.
Annual Financial Report - Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for the last five years. This report is the annual audited financial statements.
Monthly Check Register - The monthly check register including all operating checks written, all outgoing wire transfers and summaries of semi-weekly payroll.
Current Tax Rates - Local tax rates for the City.
Energy Usage - Municipal energy usage for the most recent calendar year in accordance with HB 3693.
Public Information Requests - Instructions and related forms to make a public information request.
