TRAVEL TRAINING PROGRAM

CityLink now offers "travel training" for persons needing a little help learning how to use the bus. If you would like to use the CityLink bus system, but you are not comfortable with how to ride, CityLink can provide training.

Here's How it Works:

All you have to do is call 676-6BUS. Tell the CityLink representative that you wish to sign up for the "Travel Training" program. Give the representative your name, address, telephone number, and the date you would like to start using the bus. We will take care of the rest.

Once you've made the call, a friendly CityLink trainer will call you back to schedule your first trip. The trainer will come to your house or apartment on the day of the first trip. The trainer will walk with you to the bus stop, show you how to board the bus, ride with you to your destination, show you how to get off the bus, and assist you during your return trip home. The trainer will repeat this process with you for several trips (regardless of the time and day of the week) until you have learned how to use the CityLink system.

CityLink buses can take you just about anywhere you need to go in the City safely and comfortably. And, all buses and drivers are equipped to assist persons with disabilities or special needs.

For the elderly and disabled, a One Year Pass (unlimited rides) cost only $132. A monthly pass for unlimited rides is $11.00.
