We are the public transit system for the City of Abilene. CityLink offers an affordable
transportation alternative for the citizens of Abilene. It is our goal to provide this service safely,
efficiently, courteously and in the most professional manner possible.
CityLink is managed and operated by contract with First Transit Group, Inc.

Types of Service
CityLink provides three types of service: fixed-route bus service, ADA Complimentary Paratransit Service, and demand-response evening service.
- Fixed-route bus service and ADA Complimentary Paratransit Service are provided Monday through Friday from 6:15 a.m. until 6:15 p.m. and from 6:30 a.m. until 6:15 p.m. on Saturday.
- Demand-response evening service is provided from 6:15 p.m. until 12 a.m. (with the last available pick-up at 11:30 p.m.) Monday through Saturday.
CityLink provides a Reduced Fare policy per the The Federal Government, via The National Mass Transportation Act of 1974. Reduced fares for the fixed-route buses are available for the elderly and persons with disabilities who have met the qualifications. A CityLink Reduced Fare Identification Card is available to all qualified perons and must be obtained at the CityLink Station at 1189 S. 2nd Street. These I.D. cards cost $2.00 each and will expire 2 years from the date of purchase. If a replacement I.D. is required, there is a $2.00 replacement fee and will require proof of eligibility. To qualify, please fill out the Reduced Fare Assurance form found here.
In order to continue to provide quality service, CityLink has developed the Ticket Order Form (found here) to help streamline all future ticket orders. The form is a fillable PDF that can be saved for your records, emailed, faxed or dropped off at our ticket office.
