City of Abilene’s public transit system islooking to fill Bus and Van Operator vacancies. Potential operators must have a willingness to assist the Abilene community through bus and paratransit operations, while exhibiting a safe, courteous, professional demeanor. Must be available to work all shifts: 6:00 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. Monday - Saturday. Must have or be able to obtain a Class B Commercial Drivers license (CDL) with passenger endorsement. Training is provided. Compensation is competitive, and company benefits are available upon full time status. Criminal and Motor Vehicle background checks will be administered, therefore clear records shall be required. High school graduate or GED is required.
