A NEW Art Exhibit in collaboration with Abilene Regional Airport and the Abilene Cultural Affairs Council

NEW art exhibit set to open featuring great local artists! The Abilene Regional Airport and the Abilene Cultural Affairs Council have collaborated on a project that will showcase some of Abilene's outstanding artists.

Ceramic Sculpture - Artist: Linda Strickland
Some artists being featured include:
Tony Brown & Linda Murray - collaborative painters who have worked together on approx. 25 murals" Lake Abilene" - acrylic on canvas
H.C. Zachry - painter - "Gone with the Wind," "The Grace, Abilene," and "Texas Red Oak" - giclee
Stephanie Thornton - glass blower - "Soaring" - blown glass floats
Doug Graves -metal sculptor - "Born to be Free" - welded metal sculpture
Burgess Thomas - photographer - series of large framed photographs Linda Stricklin - ceramic artist - "Madonna" and "Shattered Dreams" - ceramic sculpture glass mosaics
George Holland - potter- "Alabaster Buffalo" and "Golden Orb" - pottery
Steve Butman - photographer - photography mural
Our goal is for the traveler's initial impression of Abilene be one of a surprisingly rich art community with high caliber artists.
