CONSENT AGENDA

All items listed below are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted with one motion.  There will be no separate discussion of an item unless a citizen or Councilmember requests, at which time it will be removed from the consent agenda and considered separately.

 

Resolutions:

Resolution re-designating Habitat for Humanity – Abilene, Inc. as a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) and authorizing disbursement of HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) funds.

Oral Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Interlocal Agreement with Texas Department of Criminal Justice for Water, Wastewater, and Solid Waste Services to the Middleton and Robertson Units.

Global Positioning System (GPS) Base Station and two Rover Units, Bid #CB-2054.

Litigation is, by its nature, an on-going process, and questions may arise as to trial tactics, which need to be explained
to the City Council.  Upon occasion, the City Council may need information from the City Attorney as to the status
of the pending or contemplated litigation subjects set out above. After discussion of the pending and contemplated litigation
subjects, in executive session, any final action, or vote taken, will be in public.

(Real Property) Section 551.072

City Council may consider the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property in a closed meeting when
deliberation in an open meeting would have a detrimental effect on the position of the governmental body in negotiations with a third person.
