Oral Resolution approving a transfer agreement to facilitate the substitution of Texas State Technical College West Texas (TSTC) as grantee under EDA award #08-01-02672 and conveyance of the ARBEC facility on E. Hwy. 80 to TSTC.

Oral Resolution considering a street use license agreement with Taylor County for Oak Street and Chestnut Street rights-of-way adjacent to Taylor County Courthouse.

Litigation is, by its nature, an on-going process, and questions may arise as to trial tactics, which need to
be explained to the City Council.  Upon occasion, the City Council may need information from the City
Attorney as to the status of the pending or contemplated litigation subjects set out above.  After discussion
of the pending and contemplated litigation subjects, in executive session, any final action, or vote taken, will be in public.

City Council may consider appointment, employment, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal o
f public officers or employees, City Manager, City Attorney, Municipal Court Judge, City Secretary,

  After discussion of appointment and evaluation of Council Ap­pointees and Board and
Commission members in executive session, any final action or vote taken will be in public.

 

(Real Property)

City Council may consider the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property
in a closed meeting when deliberation in an open meeting would have a detrimental effect
on the position of the governmental body in negotiations with a third person, pursuant to
Texas Government Code 551.072.
