All items listed below are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted with one motion.  There will be no separate discussion of an item unless a citizen or Councilmember requests, at which time it will be removed from the consent agenda and considered separately.

 

Resolutions:

Oral Resolution approving street use license request from OES Environmental, Inc. for installation of monitoring wells related to 3382 N. 10th St.

Resolution endorsing, supporting and encouraging the passage by the voters of Texas of Proposition 15 “The Texas Mobility Fund” on the November 6th General Election ballot.

Resolution supporting passage of Constitutional Amendment Proposition 2 on the November 6, 2001 constitutional amendment election ballot.

 

 

Oral Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract with Neighborhood America, Inc., for web-based public participation and planning services.

Resolution authorizing the City Manager to sign an Electric Supply Agreement with the winning bidder for the electric load of Cities Aggregation Power Project upon confirmation of economic benefit to the City.

Award of Contract for City’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Proposal #CB-1050.

If personnel or litigation issues arise as to the posted subject matter of this City Council Meeting, an executive session will be held.

 

(Litigation)

The City Council may consider pending and contemplated litigation sub­jects.  The following subjects may be discussed:

Litigation is, by its nature, an on-going process, and questions may arise as to

trial tactics, which need to be explained to the City Council. Upon occasion,

the City Council may need information from the City Attorney as to the status

of the pending or contemplated litigation subjects set out above.  After

discussion of the pending and contemplated litigation subjects, in executive

session, any final action, or vote taken, will be in public.

City Council may consider appointment, employment, reassignment, duties,

discipline, or dismissal of public officers or employees, City Manager,

City Attorney, Municipal Court Judge, City Secretary, and City Board and

(Real Property)

City Council may consider the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property in a

closed meeting when deliberation in an open meeting would have a detrimental effect

on the position of the governmental body in negotiations with a third person, pursuant to

Texas Government Code 551.072.
