About TumbleBooks
TumbleBooks offers a digital collection of eBooks and companion materials for kids up to Grade 2. Users will not only be able to access eBooks, but additional materials including videos, games, graphic novels, quizzes, and more. AR numbers are listed for many items and most books are available with enhanced and interactive content to make the stories come to life as a great literacy collection.

TumbleBookCloud Junior offers the same content as TumbleBooks, but materials in this collection focus on materials for youth in Grades 3-6.

Material in both collection are always available and you may read as many titles as you like. There is not an app for this service; however, you may add the link to the collection on the home screen of your device for easy access. Using TumbleBooks on a PC or Mobile Device

1. Visit the library's website and click on the TumbleBooks logo for your grade level. Then sign in using your 13-digit library card number.

2. Search the TumbleBooks library by using the search option in the top left corner, or use menu items provided on the home screen to browse collections.

3. When you find a book you want to read, click on the "Read Online" button to open the book. You may also add titles to a playlist or favorites list for accessing at a later time.

4. It's as simple as that. Titles must be read while using Wi-Fi, or a 3G/4G connection, there is not an offline version. The file sizes of materials are small, so they load quickly without using too much data.

Question 1: When I enter my library card number it doesn't work?

The majority of the time your library card may have expired. Contact Us and library staff may assist you further.

Question 2: Can you add titles to the TumbleBooks collections?

No, the TumbleBooks collection is updated by the company itself. Your library simply offers access to the titles available within its collection.

Question 3: Can I access these eBooks if not connected to the Internet?

No, you must be connected to Wi-Fi or a 3G/4G connection to access materials in this collection as they need to load onto your PC/device to access the interactive content inside.

Question 4: How many titles can I read at a time?

You may access as many titles as you'd like. There's no limit on the number of books you may read.

Question 5: What's the difference between eBooks on TumbleBooks and eBooks on OverDrive?

TumbleBooks offers a manual and automatic option to allow kids to read along as the book pages turn automatically and is read to them, or they may read at their own pace in manual mode. Words and sentences are underlined as they are read, making them great educational tools when reading. Additionally, these materials come with animation, music, and narration that help to enhance the reading experience. Other eBooks, such as those available on OverDrive, offer only the story.

Question 6: Do I need to download anything special to use TumbleBooks?

No, TumbleBooks are produced using flash animation. The plug-in is already installed in 95% of computers and operating systems.
