Residents
Free library cards are available to all residents of and/or property owners in the City of Abilene and Taylor county. Individuals must present photo identification and verification of their current address. You can print out an adult registration form HERE.

Children through eighteen years of age with parental approval may apply for a library card. You can print out a child's application HERE.

Nonresidents
Non-resident cards are available to Texas residents, who presently reside outside the City of Abilene and Taylor County for $10 a year. Children of non-residents through eighteen years of age with parental approval may apply for a library card. Identification requirements are the same as those for residents.
