General Information
Most events at the festival are free of charge.
The Cookbook Gala and the Boots & Books Luncheon require tickets.

Exhibit Hall Information
Texas authors and publishers are welcome to participate in the Book Festival.
Exhibit space is available at the following levels -
Individual authors who wish to sell their own books:
$20 for 1/2 table - $40 for a full table
Publishers and Book stores -- exhibit space depending on setup desired: $100 minimum
Please check reservation forms for more details.



Goals of the festival include:

• Promote Abilene as a tourist destination
• Attract and recognize authors, publishers and readers from around Texas
• Highlight the importance of reading and literacy throughout the community
• Recognize local and area authors
•Raise funds to benefit the Abilene Public Library
• Increase awareness and support for library programs
