Information
Most
events at the festival are free of charge. The Cookbook Gala, and the Boots & Books Luncheon
require tickets. Ticket information for these events can be found through the "Festival
Events" link above.
Exhibit
Hall Information
Texas authors and publishers are welcome to participate in the Book and Music Festival. Exhibit space is available at the following levels -
Individual authors
who wish to sell their own books: $20 for 1/2 table
$40 for a full table
Publishers and Book stores -- exhibit space depending on setup desired: $100
minimum

Goals of the festival
include:
• Promote Abilene as a tourist destination
• Attract and recognize authors, musicians, publishers, readers, and listeners from around Texas
• Highlight the importance of reading and literacy throughout the community
• Recognize local and area authors and musicians
•Raise funds to benefit the Abilene Public Library
• Increase awareness and support for library programs
